The name “Mokka” itself fits the theme perfectly, as in German this word means “mocha” – a coffee drink, which in turn got its name from the Yemeni port of Mocha, which was once an important center of the world coffee trade.Externally, the car looks standard, except for a small coffee emblem on the rear. However, if you open the trunk, you will find two coffee machines – one for ground coffee, the other for coffee capsules. The package also includes a coffee grinder, a hob for heating milk, a waste container, and even a refrigerator. All equipment is integrated into special drawers and cabinets with Opel branding.Opel states that the Mokka Coffee is designed to “make breaks during vacation trips or in the usual stress of everyday life more pleasant and tastier”. Since it is an electric vehicle, the presence of such equipment can keep you occupied during charging.The manufacturer could have installed the coffee equipment on the more powerful Opel Mokka GSE version with 278 horsepower and an improved chassis. However, since this project is more focused on relaxation, they chose the standard electric version of the Mokka with 154 horsepower. Like most Stellantis models, this compact SUV is equipped with a 54 kWh battery, providing a range of 402 km according to the WLTP standard.As you might have guessed, the Opel Mokka “Coffee” will remain a unique specimen.
